About This Special Issue
Economic growth, offshoring, outsourcing, the Sars Covid 19 pandemic, and the enlargement of the European Union have all contributed to changes in the management and entrepreneurial systems used to date. In the current market conditions, which are defined by participants and analysts as unpredictable and turbulent, it is extremely difficult to achieve growth and sustain it in the long term. The development of a knowledge-based economy makes modern organizations face many new challenges related to the need to adapt to changes and transformations occurring in the environment. Therefore, on the one hand, companies and organizations have stopped planning for the long term; on the other hand, they have begun to look for new sources that would nevertheless allow them to achieve success and contribute to improving the quality of life. Innovation has become a priority in winning markets and succeeding. Both the enterprise, the organization and the whole economy must develop innovative solutions, which on the one hand will attract customers, change the organization and occurring processes to reduce unnecessary costs and become competitive, and on the other hand should be aimed at improving the quality of life and eliminating social exclusion.
Macroeconomic and geopolitical strategies, globalization of the economy and technological progress have influenced the intensification of innovation activities in every area of life.
In order to create an environment conducive to undertaking innovative activities, organizations implement initiatives that stimulate entrepreneurial behavior of employees, reaching for the unlimited potential of the collective in the context of generating and improving ideas or creating new services.
It is indisputable that innovation is needed by anyone thinking about building their position on the market in any socio-economic area.
In this Special Issue we would like to encourage you to publish original articles on the latest research in the broad field of entrepreneurship and innovation management, strategies, models, methods and new solutions to environmental, economic, work organization and service challenges including financial, social, legal, administrative, environmental, strategic and structural-process aspects.
